Rising Stars and Stars in Computer Networking and Communications
There are a lot of amazing women in the networking/communications field. To honor some of these women, N2Women publishes an annual list of rising stars and stars in June and December respectively.
RISING STARS:
Eligibility:
- – A self-defined female researcher in the networking and communications field (researchers in industry are also encouraged to be nominated)
- – A person who has less than 10 year’s experience after Ph.D. completion (excluding parental leave duration)
- – A person who has outstanding research outcomes and/or service contributions in the networking and communications field
- – A person who is currently not serving and did not serve as N2Women board member in recent two years
STARS:
Eligibility:
- – A self-defined female researcher in the networking and communications field from academia or industry.
- – A person who earned her PhD before December 10, 2014 (over 10 year’s experience after PhD completion).
- – A person who has outstanding research outcomes and/or service contributions in the networking and communications field.
- – A person who is currently not serving and did not serve as N2Women board member in recent two years
Important Dates:
– Nomination Deadline: November 10th, 2024 (11:59 anywhere on Earth)
– Winner Announcement: December 10th, 2024 (Ada Lovelace’s birthday)
