The first meeting was organized at MobiHoc on May 24th, 2006 in Florence, Italy. Since then N2Women has organized several meetings over the years, ranging from lunches to panel discussions. The goal of organizing meetings is to facilitate connections among the conference attendees. 

N2Women offers fellowships that partially cover a young researcher’s travel cost (up to $1000) to a meeting where an N2Women event will be held. In exchange, the young researcher must help organize the N2Women meeting. You can see more details about fellowships here.
