Meeting at CPS-IoT Week 2019

April 16, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

You are cordially invited to the N2Women Meeting at CPS-IoT Week 2019 in Montreal, Canada!
Topic: “Design Fiction Workshop: Wearables for Work-Life Balance”
Invited Speaker: You! This is a storytelling workshop where *you* get to tell the story of any weird and wonderful wearable tech you can imagine. The theme is “work-life balance” so we encourage you to think of a wearable that could make that easier, but if you have another idea we’d love to hear it. And if you have a story but public speaking isn’t your thing, you can give me your story and I’ll tell it on your behalf.
How: We have story prompts to inspire you on the day, and for those of you who like to plan ahead we’ll circulate participant information sheets a couple of days ahead. There will also be plenty of craft materials for you to portray the genius of your creation.
Where: room TBC, at Fairmont the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, 900 René Levesque Blvd W, Montreal. Directions here: http://cpslab.cs.mcgill.ca/cpsiotweek2019/venue.html
Facilitator: Helen Oliver, helen.oliver@cl.cam.ac.uk
Mentor: Suzan Bayhan, TU Berlin
Funding for this meeting has been generously provided by ACM SIGBED.

On the left are members of Team Evil who proposed a Head-Mounted Camera of Total Social Surveillance, and on the right, members of the winning Team Good who proposed the Toddler-Tracking Sensor Shoe.
